Your WhatsApp phone number and the profile name you have set in WhatsApp
The messages, photos and documents you send us, and the time you send them
If you reached us by tapping a Prestige Football Schools advert on Facebook or Instagram, a reference to that advert (not your activity elsewhere)
How we use it
To reply to your enquiry and advise you on schools, academies, camps and events
To keep a record of your enquiry, so any member of our team can pick up the conversation
To understand which of our adverts and channels lead families to contact us, and how quickly we reply
We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you start and in understanding how people find us. Where you ask us to help with an application or placement, we also rely on taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement with you.
Information about your child
If you tell us about your child (for example their age, school or football experience), we use it only to advise you and to support any application you ask us to make. We never use it in our marketing.
Who handles it
Our team reads and replies to messages in the WhatsApp Business app.
WhatsApp and Meta, which provide the WhatsApp Business Platform, process messages to deliver them. Their use of data is covered by the WhatsApp Privacy Policy.
Service providers that help us manage enquiries, including our customer records system and our secure database hosted in the European Union. They act only on our instructions.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK and EU; see section 8 (International Transfers).
Marketing
We will only send you marketing messages on WhatsApp if you have agreed to receive them. You can ask us to stop at any time by telling us in the chat.
How long we keep it
The WhatsApp messages we store in our systems are kept for 12 months after our last conversation with you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep them for as long as we work together and as required by law. After that we delete them. Your contact details in our customer records are kept as described in section 11 (Data Retention).
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold from your WhatsApp conversations by emailing info@prestigefootballschools.com (see section 10). Deleting it from our records does not delete the copy of the chat on your own phone.
