Sage College — officially the British International School of Jerez — is located in Jerez de la Frontera in Cádiz province, Andalusia: approximately 90 kilometres south of Seville, 35 kilometres from Cádiz city, and 12 kilometres from Jerez Airport. Founded in 2006 and operating as a British school since 2014, it has grown under its current ownership (since 2018) into one of the most credible British schools in southern Spain, with approximately 490 students representing 40 to 50 nationalities.
The school offers the British National Curriculum from nursery through to A-Level, alongside a US High School Diploma pathway delivered by a dedicated on-site coordinator. Coaching & Development
Football at Sage College is fully embedded within the academic timetable through the Sage PAR High-Performance Sports Programme, which runs two tracks: an Elite Programme for students targeting professional or scholarship pathways, and a Development Programme for committed players seeking structured long-term improvement. Both operate on five training sessions per week alongside gym work, video analysis and a competitive fixture schedule.
The school’s club — Sage International FC — competes in organised regional league football and was crowned league champion in its debut competitive season. The Sevilla FC Academy partnership (formalised May 2025) adds professional coaching methodology from one of Spain’s most decorated clubs, with co-branded coaching sessions and camps delivered by Sevilla FC and Sage coaching staff combined.

Qualifications & Curriculum
Cambridge IGCSEs & A-Levels
The primary British pathway. IGCSE subjects include English, Mathematics, Sciences, Spanish, Business, IT, History and Global Perspectives. A-Level choices include English, Mathematics, Sciences, Business, Economics, Media Studies and more. 100% A-Level pass rate and 92% IGCSE pass rate recorded in 2023. All qualifications accepted at UK Russell Group universities.
US High School Diploma
An American curriculum pathway for families planning US university applications, delivered flexibly alongside the football programme. A dedicated on-site coordinator manages the programme. Particularly suitable for international students from the US, or those targeting NCAA athletic scholarships at American universities.
EvAU (Spanish University Entrance)
For students intending to enter Spanish universities, the EvAU (Evaluación de Acceso a la Universidad) is available alongside the British curriculum. Sage reported a 100% pass rate in 2023. All teaching in Spanish for this pathway.
English Language Support
Language support is available in English, Spanish, French, German and Russian, reflecting the international make-up of the boarding community. EFL provision is embedded for students whose first language is not English, enabling international students to access the British curriculum effectively from arrival.
