Coaching & Development
Full-time professional football academy founded in 2013. UEFA Licensed coaching staff with professional playing and coaching backgrounds. Academy (16-18), Senior Programme (18+ in Tercera RFEF via FC Malaga City and CD Almunecar City), Femenino (16-22+, first-of-its-kind in Europe). Daily technical sessions, tactical work, competitive fixtures in Spanish leagues, and showcase games against elite clubs (FC Barcelona, PSG, Tottenham, Sevilla, Granada).

The coaches behind the programme
George Jermy
George founded FC Malaga City Academy from scratch in 2013 and grew it into one of Europe's leading private football academies — with over 50 professional graduates, players from 40+ countries, and the club now competing in Spain's Tercera RFEF. His vision of replicating Spanish professional academy standards for an international student body has made FC Malaga City a globally recognised development pathway.
Alvaro Arias
A UEFA Licensed coach, Alvaro manages the operational and coaching delivery of the academy programme. A natural bridge between Spanish professional football culture and the academy's international student body, he oversees training schedules, fixture logistics, and individual development plans — ensuring the high standards of technical coaching the academy is known for are maintained throughout the season.
Ryan Collins
Ryan organises FC Malaga City's international tour group operations, bringing squads from around the world to Malaga for elite football development experiences. His expertise in international sports travel and academy logistics makes him the key contact for schools and clubs joining the programme, managing everything from training schedules and accommodation to competitive fixtures against elite clubs including Barcelona and Sevilla.
