Greg Thurstans
Greg is the architect of Beechwood's nationally recognised Elite Football Programme, which he built to extend from Year 3 to Sixth Form. His approach combines Playermaker wearable technology with Individual Development Plans reviewed termly, creating a highly personalised coaching environment where every player has a measurable development pathway from junior school through to A-Level.
Matthew Rose
A former Arsenal FC academy player, Matthew brings elite professional experience to Beechwood's coaching team. He delivers the day-to-day technical and tactical coaching that has earned the school its national reputation. His sessions are data-led using Playermaker technology, and he uses the school's online player hub to keep families informed of individual progress. His background at Arsenal, combined with his careful blend of structured development and encouragement, has helped multiple players progress to professional trials and US college scholarships.
